High Court Land Suit No.0054 of 2014, Omirambe Gideon and Three Others Versus National Forestry Authority and Attorney General filed in the High Court of Uganda at Masindi. The Plaintiffs represent other 84 (eighty four) people who were evicted in their pieces of land adjacent to Bujaawe Central Forest Reserve between 2005 to date. The Plaintiffs and the said persons were illegally evicted, beaten, tortured. Their houses, properties therein, domestic utensils, domestic animals, harvested crops, cash and business were destroyed and burnt down.  All the represented person’s are currently at large, homeless and landless without any hope.

The mediation of the above matter is fixed for the 31st day of August, 2015 at 09:00am. The main suit is fixed for mention before the trial judge on the same date at 09:30 am; (to inform Court of the outcome of the mediation).
